On Friday 13th of October, Riversdale will get up early, rub it’s eyes, soak in the tub and prepare to get ready for the birthday party of the year!

Its best clothes will be laid out, countless hours will be spent in front of the mirror primping and its finest jewels will be readied.
From near and far, people will come…to eat, to drink, to laugh, to dance, to entertain and be entertained. In the background music will play to calm, to soothe, to incite conversation and encourage a jig.
Feelings of celebration, jubilation and nervous anticipation will fill the air as expected festivities ensue and the unexpected wait their turn. Riversdale will come to life in familiar and unfamiliar ways. Lights will be shone on the past that in turn creates a pathway for the future.
As it celebrates its 125th birthday, Riversdale will be surrounded by its closest friends, people that played vital roles in shaping who Riversdale is today. Honour and tributes will be given to those vital in the early years as well as those that carried the mantel over the decades that followed and those that work now to create an exciting future for Riversdale.
Champagne (or sparkling wine to be technically correct!) corks will pop, candles will sparkle and birthday cheers will echo across the grounds. Many will be in attendance to witness such an event whilst others will have wished they acted faster to ensure they were part of history.
Our 125th Birthday Celebration is just around the corner. Now is the time to finalise your table and get ready to secure your booking when the booking form opens at 1:30pm on Friday 1st of September. You will be able to book a table either in the main dining room or the Riversdale room if you prefer a slightly quieter space.

You will be greeted with hors d’oeuvres and a drink on arrival and will enjoy a sumptuous meal followed by a show stopping dessert! Throughout the night you will be regaled with tales of the club and its members and warm birthday wishes from near and far. The funky tunes of the Black Suede Band will set the tone of the night perhaps encouraging a number of you on to the dance floor for a birthday boogie!
125 years is something to celebrate, a milestone to be proud of and a momentous part of our rich history. Make sure you are there to mark this moment in time.
