Playing The Course

Members are welcome to accompany their children or grandchildren (under 18 years) on the course any day of the week after 4pm.

Some things to consider when promoting the game to juniors:

  • Have fun – don’t worry about results.
  • Tee the ball up on the fairway.
  • Play shorter holes – from the ladies markers or the start of the fairway.
  • Play Ambrose or other fun variations of the game
  • Teach basic rules and etiquette – i.e. carry sand buckets, where to stand, courtesy to other players, pace of play etc.
