Graeme Lambert brings to Riversdale members and their guests wide experience as a qualified instructor with the Australian Defence Force in Counter Surveillance and Minewarfare.
In 1996 he went to Afghanistan to work in the United Nations Demining program,a hazardous humanitarian activity where the minimum acceptable standard is 100 per cent removal of all unexploded ordnance and the work is carried out without the backup and support of friendly forces.
What he has to say about the nature of modern warfare in one of the most volatile spots on earth will be both instructive and enlightening.
