INTERCLUB – A CLOSE CONTEST AT KINGSTON HEATH
Monday 22nd July saw our Interclub team play at Kingston Heath for the second last round of the season. A close contest against Centenary Park ended with a narrow 3/2 loss played in tricky windy conditions, with our players giving lots of shots to the opposition in this handicapped competition. All players nonetheless enjoyed the opportunity to play the Kingston Heath course followed by lunch in the Clubhouse afterwards. Congratulations to Sue Taylor and Chris Gorman for their great wins, despite giving 9 and 3 shots respectively, and well done to Sue Chun, Sue Browne and Tina Kim for their valiant efforts, with Tina taking her match all the way to the 18th hole decider.
A big thank you to our caddies Woody Macpherson, Runa Cho, Michelle Chae, Julia Lee and Tini McKimm, who did a wonderful job in supporting the players during their matches. Your input is very much appreciated.
Next week the final round will be played at Sandhurst against Spring Valley on the North Course, teeing off at 9.00 am. Best of luck team!
