PRESIDENT’S DAY
President’s Day has been conducted for most of the life of the Club. The competitions have been varied from individual stableford to four ball best-ball stableford which is currently the format. The President of the day attends and selects and presents the trophies to the winners. From the early days of the Club this event has always had both Men and Women competing, and for most of the times Mixed Foursomes has been paramount. More recently, following the golf and presentations there has been a dinner to compliment the day and on occasions some light entertainment. In the early days, the organisation of the day has belonged to the Committee, however with the advent of Sub-Committee’s, the Social Committee has taken it on in consultation with the President.
